73,311 Martyrs and 173,924 Injured in Gaza Strip Since Start of Aggression

GAZA, July 23, 2026 — Medical sources in the Gaza Strip announced today, Thursday, that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli occupation aggression on the Strip has risen to 73,311 martyrs and 173,924 injured since October 7, 2023.

The sources added that hospitals in the Strip received 3 martyrs and 6 injured individuals over the past 24 hours.

They further clarified that the total number of martyrs since the ceasefire on October 11 of last year has risen to 1,185, with injuries reaching 3,816, while 803 bodies have been recovered.

The sources noted that a number of victims remain trapped under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and rescue crews are still unable to reach them.
