73,333 Killed and 174,023 Injured in the Gaza Strip Since the Start of the Aggression
GAZA, July 28, 2026 — Medical sources announced on Tuesday that the toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 73,333 fatalities and 174,023 injuries since October 7, 2023.
The same sources added that over the past 24 hours, hospitals in the Strip received four victims—including one who succumbed to previous wounds—in addition to 14 injuries.
They noted that the total number of fatalities since the ceasefire took effect on October 11 last year has reached 1,207, with 3,914 injuries and 803 bodies retrieved from under the rubble. They highlighted that a number of victims remain trapped under the debris and on the roads, as ambulance and rescue crews are unable to reach them.
