73,387 Martyrs and 174,257 Injured Since the Start of the Genocidal War on the Gaza Strip

Gaza, August 11, 2026 — Medical sources announced today, Tuesday, that the death toll from the Israeli occupation's aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 73,387 martyrs and 174,257 injured since October 7, 2023.

The sources explained that during the past 24 hours, hospitals in the Strip received [one] martyr, in addition to [one] injured person.

They noted that the total number of martyrs since the ceasefire on October 11 of last year has risen to 1,259, and injuries to 4,146, while the total number of recovered bodies reached 807. They highlighted that a number of victims still remain under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and rescue crews are unable to reach them.
