"Gaza, 9-9-2026 - Medical sources announced today, Wednesday, that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 73,669 martyrs, the majority of whom are women and children, since the beginning of the Israeli occupation's aggression on October 7, 2023.
The sources added that the number of injuries has risen to 174,652 since the beginning of the aggression, while a number of victims remain under the rubble and on the streets, with ambulance and civil defense crews unable to reach them.
They explained that over the past 24 hours, the bodies of 7 martyrs arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip—including two newly martyred, one who succumbed to his wounds, and 4 whose bodies were recovered—in addition to 25 injuries.
In a related context, the toll of martyrs and injuries since the ceasefire on October 11 last year reached 1,358 martyrs and 4,541 injuries, while 831 bodies have been recovered."
