GAZA, October 19, 2026 — The death toll from the war of genocide waged by the Israeli occupation forces on the Gaza Strip has risen to 74,480 martyrs and 175,539 injured since October 7, 2023.
Medical sources explained that over the past 24 hours, hospitals in the Gaza Strip received 5 martyrs, including 4 new martyrs, and 22 injuries.
The sources pointed out that the total number of martyrs since the ceasefire on October 11 has risen to 1,522, and injuries to 5,421, while the total number of recovered bodies reached 839.
The sources added that a number of victims remain under the rubble and on the streets, as ambulance and rescue crews are unable to reach them.

Death toll in the Gaza Strip rises to 74,469 martyrs and 175,492 injuries since the beginning of the aggression
Gaza, October 17, 2026 – The death toll of the war of annihilation waged by the Israeli occupation forces on the Gaza Strip has risen to 74,469 martyrs and 175,492 injuries since October 7, 2023.
Medical sources stated in their report on Saturday that hospitals in the Gaza Strip received 6 martyrs and 43 injuries over the past 24 hours.
They pointed out that the total number of martyrs since the ceasefire on October 11 of last year has risen to 1,511, and injuries to 5,375, while the total number of retrieved bodies reached 838. They explained that a number of victims remain under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and rescue crews are unable to reach them.
They noted that 67 martyrs were added to the cumulative death toll after completing their data and approval by the Committee for the Approval of Martyrs, since the last addition to the statistics on October 10, 2026.

In their daily statistical report, the sources added that 4 casualties and 28 injuries were brought to hospitals across the Strip over the past 24 hours.

21,000 Patients in Gaza in Need of Treatment Abroad
Gaza -October 7, 2026- The Ministry of Health in Gaza said around 21,000 patients urgently need medical evacuation and treatment abroad, amid the severe deterioration of the healthcare system and the closure of the Rafah crossing since May 2024.
The ministry said the patients include 5,600 children, 2,800 cancer and oncology patients, 194 life-threatening cases requiring urgent evacuation, and around 2,000 emergency cases.
It added that 2,027 patients have died while waiting for medical evacuation since the crossing was closed, while thousands remain in need of treatment outside Gaza.
The ministry said around 12,000 cancer patients were in Gaza before the war, including 600 children. Around 1,500 have died during the war, while approximately 2,800 cancer patients remain in need of medical evacuation.

Education Ministry: More than 20,000 Students and Education Workers Killed in Three Years
Ramallah - October 7, 2026- The Ministry of Education and Higher Education said more than 20,000 students, teachers and university staff have been killed since October 7, 2023.
According to a ministry report, more than 20,000 school and university students were killed, most of them in the Gaza Strip. The toll also includes 805 teachers and 246 university staff members in Gaza, in addition to seven teachers in the West Bank.
The ministry said tens of thousands of students and education workers were also injured, while hundreds of students, teachers and academics were detained in the West Bank.
