Gaza, August 2, 2026 - Medical sources announced today, Sunday, that the death toll from the Israeli occupation's aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 73,356 martyrs and 174,185 injured since October 7, 2023.
The sources explained that during the past 24 hours, the Strip's hospitals received 7 martyrs, one of whom succumbed to his wounds, in addition to 23 injured people.

They indicated that the total number of martyrs since the ceasefire on October 11 has risen to 1,230, and injuries to 4,076, while the total number of retrieved bodies reached 804. They pointed out that a number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and rescue crews are unable to reach them.
